GEA has been involved extensively in site construction of large installations. These include:

Support platforms and air-cooled condenser A-frames (Matimba and Majuba Power Stations, Samancor and Polifin Power Plants)
Natural draft hyperbolic cooling towers (Tutuka Power Station)
Induced draft cooling towers (Majuba Power Station, SASOL Process Plant, Iscor Steel Plant, Belle Vue Mauritius Power Plant, various mine condenser cooling towers, pre-cooling towers and bulk air coolers)
Air cooler and column top condenser structures (SASOL Process Plant, Saldanha Steel Cooling System, Columbus Water Reticulation)
On site refurbishment of large wet cooling towers (SASOL Process Plant)

GEA has developed an infrastructure which caters for any type of refurbishment either in-situ or at the Roodekop factory on GEA supplied equipment.
